This is the site of my future home in Poulsbo. The blurry-faced man gives you an idea of the size of the trees, and if you peer closely through the trees you can see the Olympic Mountains. I can’t believe how lucky I was to find this property. For a chemically sensitive person, it is close to perfect. It is situated behind another property with access via a private road, so the only car exhaust is from the neighbor at the end of the private road. The back third of the property is a ravine filled with trees. The ravine runs along the adjacent properties as well and is zoned for preservation, so no subdivisions will be popping up. It is on a hill, so there is good air circulation and water drainage. There are no industrial or chemically enterprises nearby. The neighbors have horses, goats and llamas. Now I just have to build a house that doesn’t make me sick.
