The garage foundation was finally poured a few weeks ago. It will now sit until next Spring, when Faswall ICF blocks for the walls will be delivered.
While waiting for the foundation pour to happen I arranged to have a small metal frame greenhouse delivered and assembled. I am now busy making raised planting beds out of leftover steel roofing panels that I had powder coated. I believe that is a less toxic combination than the materials used to make commercially available garden beds. It is possible I will complete the beds in time to plant some winter crops, but Spring is more likely.
